Chalk Parish Hall, built in 2007 and officially opened by HRH The Duke of Kent, offers several halls for hire. Hirers are responsible for supervision of the premises and behaviour of all persons during the hiring period, and for leaving the premises in a clean and tidy condition and properly secured. Only assistance/service dogs are permitted. Use of the rear garden is restricted to Chalk Pre-School and Church events.

How to Book
Contact the Bookings Secretary, Sue Hammock, to discuss costs and availability. Email with as much detail of your proposed booking as possible, including date/times, numbers, and type of event. A deposit is required in advance for occasional bookings, refundable if the hall is left in good order. Balance payments must be received at least 2 weeks prior to the booking. 28 days' written notice is required for cancellation. Failure to provide this may result in the hirer being responsible for the charge, and the deposit may not be refundable. Booking times should include setting up for events, with an additional non-chargeable half an hour for clearing up. For occasional hirers, a £50 deposit is required to secure a booking, refundable after the event subject to conditions. For regular hirers, a £20 refundable deposit is requested against the issue of a key.
