All Cannings Village Hall

The Hall is owned by the All Cannings Community Trust; a registered charity. All Cannings Village Hall is in the centre of the attractive village of All Cannings situated in the historic Vale of Pewsey, part of the North Wessex Downs National Landscape. The village is served by the Connect bus service, and is 5 miles east of Devizes, 10 miles south west of Marlborough and 7 miles west of Pewsey (with its excellent rail links). The Hall, which dates from the 19th century was gifted to the village in 1920 by Mary Watney to become a Reading Room. It had previously been the village shop and post office. The building consists of one main hall, a recently modernized kitchen and bathroom facilities. Furniture is kept in the adjacent store room. The Hall also has a spacious garden area, which is ideal for summer outdoor parties. It is easily accessible to children and the less mobile. The building is fully accessible for wheelchairs. The Hall shares its site with the All Cannings Community Shop and there is parking for up to ten cars. The famous Kings Arms pub is a short walk down the road.
