How to book
Bookings are secured by completing and signing a booking form in person and paying a refundable security deposit. Provisional bookings are not normally taken. All requests require approval by the Hall Booking Secretary. A returnable deposit is payable in addition to the hire charge (£30 for charges up to £150, £50 for charges over £150). This acts as a booking reservation fee and surety for damages. Hire charges must be paid in full in advance of the booking, at least eight days before the function unless otherwise agreed. Payment methods include debit/credit card, bank payment, or cash. Setting up and tidying up must be completed within the agreed hire period. Hirers are responsible for removing all rubbish at the end of the event. Regular hirers may receive a discount, must have their own Public Liability Insurance, and provide their own Safeguarding Policy for Children and Vulnerable Adults. Certain activities deemed inappropriate for church premises (e.g., occult activities, some martial arts, yoga, meditation, strip-o-grams) will be refused.
