Commissioned in 1923 by Lady Florence Antrobus and built in the Queen Anne style in memory of her only son, Lieutenant Edmund Antrobus, the house was gifted to the people of Amesbury and was formally opened to the public in 1925. It is now administered by the Lady Antrobus Trust, and a century later it is a gift that keeps on giving. With its attractive and much-admired architecture, its charming and impressive ornate interior, together with its extensive stylish grounds and plentiful private on-site parking, Antrobus House is a hugely popular choice for everyone looking for a unique venue to hire, whatever they may be planning.
