Whether you’re looking to celebrate a big birthday, put on a show or market for the community, hold a conference for your company or host your wedding at Big Penny Social in Walthamstow, we have a number of flexible spaces you can hire. Our largest dedicated event space has capacity for up to 700 but there are also lots of options for smaller gatherings. Groups of up to 60 can book tables right here on the website. For anything bigger, please get in touch with our events team via our private hire page. We can’t wait to find out more and see how we can help you! We have a range of spaces available for private hire which suit a wide range of events. Our versatile event space - with a capacity of up to 700 people - is available to hire for a wide range of celebrations and occasions; performances, exhibitions, screenings, conferences, product launches, team away days and more.

How to book
For groups with up to 200 guests please book online under the option ‘Private Hire' booking options. For groups bigger than this please drop us an email and we'll come back to you with some options. If you would like to organise a venue tour or have questions about hiring our venue, please get in touch via email at privatehire@bigpennysocial.co.uk or filling out the form at the bottom of this page. On Saturdays and Sundays if your group is 16 or more we ask for a £50 pre-authorisation to confirm your booking - this money is only charged to your card if you do not turn up for your booking. Please note, under 18s are welcome in the venue until 7pm. If your group has children in it please let us know how many in the 'special requests' box when you confirm your booking so we can make sure we can best look after your group.
