The Community Hall of Yarmouth & District (CHOYD) is a modern venue suitable for a wide range of events including private parties, receptions, performances, wedding receptions, corporate events, charity events, meetings, sales, training classes, social evenings, games, exercise lessons, exhibitions, music events, theatre productions, band practice, christenings/blessings, wakes, baby groups, fitness classes/yoga, educational pursuits, church events/choir practice, school events, dog training, naming ceremonies, film shoots, local community meetings, societies and clubs. It features a modern kitchen, licensed bar, new accessible toilets, and a range of furniture, crockery, cutlery, glasses, and other equipment. The hall is licensed for music and dancing and has a partition with soundproofing. Conveniently located a short walk from the ferry, buses, and a large public car park. Cannot accommodate bouncy castles due to low ceiling height. Parties where most guests are between 15 and 21 will only be permitted at the Trustees' discretion.
