About
An historic hall built in 1872, designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, originally as a girls' infant school. It boasts a vaulted main hall with a spacious suspended wooden floor. The hall was extended in 1905 and the 1970s. In August 2021, the main hall was named 'Gilbert Scott Hall'. It is a highly flexible and adaptable venue for various events.

If alcohol is sold or given as part of a package or incentive, you MUST either book the Bar Facilities (£25.00) (includes use of their license) OR book The White Hart OR obtain your own license/licensee. Email bookings officer for details. Hire will not be confirmed until payment in full is received. By paying for the booking, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of use of the hall. Cancellation policy: Two months prior - No penalty; Less than two months prior - 50% of the hire cost; One week or less prior - 100% of the hire cost.
