How to Book
Enquiries for bookings are welcomed by the Office Manager, Mrs Zoe Tanner. To book, complete and sign an application form and return it to the Office with a deposit within ten days to reserve the date. Full payment must be made three weeks before the event. Failure to receive payment on time will result in cancellation. Cancellation within 2 weeks: charged at the full rate. Within 2-4 weeks: charged at 50% of the hire rate. Within 4-8 weeks: may incur an administration charge of 25% of the hire rate unless re-let. Cancellation charges are at the discretion of the Downend Folk House Association. A Barn representative is entitled to visit the premises at any time during the event and can close it if terms are not observed. Before the event, hirers should check the premises for damage and report it (e.g., with a photo).
