How to Book

Provisional bookings can be made on the online portal: https://venuehire.scribeaccounts.com/Gwennap-Parish-Council. Ticking 'I agree to terms and conditions' box when submitting a provisional booking declares understanding and compliance with all terms and conditions. Once a booking is made and an automated confirmation is received, GPC assumes the hirer will abide by the conditions. Minimum hire period is 2 hours, with hire period units in 15-minute units, starting and finishing on the quarter hour. Setup and dismantling time must be included in the original booking period. A minimum of 30 minutes is required between bookings. Access is controlled by direct handover from Caretaker/Parish Clerk or by key safe access system. Hirers will be issued an access PIN number. Charges for all bookings can be found on the online booking system. Additional charges may apply for use of equipment, shown on the booking system or confirmed via pro-forma invoice. Cancellation policy: Over 4 weeks notice: No cancellation fee, full refund if paid. 1 to 4 weeks notice: 50% of the hall fee will be charged, 50% refund if paid. Less than 1 week notice: Full hall fee will be charged, no refund if paid. To cancel, email [email protected]. Terms and conditions of hire are effective from 01/01/2022 and are subject to change without prior notice. They apply to all Hall users. The hirer (or an authorised representative) must be present during the hire period and ensure terms and conditions are observed. Users must act responsibly and respect the property, facilities, and equipment.
