Hendra Hall is a vibrant community hub in the heart of Truro, originally a drill hall dating back to 1929. It offers versatile community space for various activities, aiming to improve health and wellbeing, engage in sports, develop new skills, and facilitate social interaction. Hirers are responsible for preservation of order; for events requiring stewarding (dances, stage plays, public meetings), at least one steward per 50 people is required. No equipment to be used or stored without written consent from Chairman or Vice-Chairman. Hirer is responsible for applying for any occasional liquor license and must obtain written permission from Chairman or Vice-Chairman before applying. Hirer is responsible for paying all royalties and other charges (e.g., Performing Rights Society, Phonographic Performance Ltd). Hirer must take care of premises, fix nothing to the outside, use only approved internal decorations, and leave premises clean (removing all rubbish). A charge will be made or deducted from deposit if repairs or extra cleaning are necessary.

How to Book
Online bookings must be paid in full in advance. Hirers must give at least 7 days notice for cancellation. The Committee reserves discretion to cancel a hire without notice and will refund the hire charge but is not liable for other losses. All groups/organisations operating on a member/participant session fee basis must email/present a copy of their current Public Liability Insurance with their initial booking application.
