Iwade Village Hall is a community space located on Ferry Road, 2 miles outside of Sittingbourne and a few minutes drive from the M2. It is busy with local groups daily and most weekday evenings, but weekend and regular weekday evening slots are available for hire. The hall is run entirely by volunteers.

How to Book

Bookings require at least 4 weeks advance notice. No booking is confirmed until full payment and deposit is received. Payments can be made via bank transfer (Acc: 71291060 S/C: 77 95 30, Iwade Village Hall @ Lloyds) or PayPal (friends and family option recommended). Refer to Standard Conditions of Hire for deposit refund timescales. As the hall is run entirely by volunteers, expect replies to booking inquiries within 7 days.

Licences & Safety

Alcohol Licence
Curfew NotesAny party aged 16-21 must have security with an SIA Badge present on site throughout the hire. Bouncy castles and smoke machines are prohibited. Evidence of a personal license and public liability insurance required if alcohol is sold. Public Liability insurance may be required for third-party services (e.g., commercial catering, DJ, event management). Health & Hygiene certificate required for commercial catering. All documents to be provided at least 4 weeks prior to the event. For licensable activities not covered by the hall's license, a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) may be required with written consent from the management committee.
