How to book

Room hire is available for organisations offering regular activities and services that improve the lives of those living in Mansfield, as well as for one-off private meetings and training sessions. The calendar is very full of regular, weekly activities and services, but additional sessions are accommodated where possible. Not currently able to facilitate any bookings on a weekend. Do not offer hire of the centre for private functions, parties, or ticketed events. Bookings that fall on a bank holiday or within their two closure periods (2 weeks in Summer and 2 weeks over Christmas) will not be facilitated. The 'Full rate costs' apply to those booking ongoing weekly sessions on the same day and time lasting at least 6 weeks. Ongoing bookings taking place in the same day and time slot, lasting a minimum of 6 consecutive weeks, are eligible to receive a discounted room hire rate. Invoices for payment will be raised within the last week of the previous month for all the following calendar month's sessions, and payment should be made within 30 days of receipt of invoice. Booking should include sufficient time to set up and clear away. Entry will only be permitted into the building for specific activities, and attendees should be informed that they are not permitted to turn up more than ten minutes earlier than the start of their session. Hirers must familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions of hire and ensure the person facilitating the booking is aware of their responsibilities. Fire safety procedures, as displayed in each room, must be followed. Corridors or exits must not be obstructed. Vehicles should not obstruct the entrance/exit to the car park or building. Electrical appliances should be authorised and have up-to-date portable appliance test (PAT Test) certificates or stickers. No highly flammable substances are permitted on the premises. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in the outside designated area at the entrance to Ladybrook Lane, adjacent to the bench and fire assembly point. The person in charge of the event must be 18 years or above, and ID may be required at the time of booking. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure adequate first aid cover within their session. Approval from Brighter Mansfield is required for any advertising or publicity material before publication. The premises must be vacated by the agreed time, including all attendees.
