Lorton House is a Victorian Country House set in 11 acres of rolling parkland with sea views, near the Jurassic Coast. Built in 1858, it is believed to be where Thomas Hardy first plied his trade, and reputedly housed Sir Edward Elgar's wardrobe in one bedroom. It is available for boutique weddings, family gatherings, special occasions, group get-togethers, and holiday rentals, offering exclusive use of the house and grounds.
