About

Atmospheric Victorian hall with a sprung wooden dancefloor and large parking area. It plays a vital part in the town's community and is suitable for theatrical productions, live music events, wedding receptions, private parties, public exhibitions, and corporate events. The day-to-day management of the Town Hall was taken on by a separate Management Committee in May 2012, with the Town Council retaining custodial Trusteeship. Some visitors have noted the hall can be quite cold during winter months.
