How to Book
All applications for hire should be made to the Booking Officer, stating the nature and purpose of the letting. The Shiraz Mirza Community Hall Trust reserves the right to refuse any application without stating the reason. The contract, appropriate payment, and any relevant insurance policy (if required) must be sent to the Booking Officer. Written acknowledgement will be forwarded to the Hirer upon booking confirmation. Hirer must contact the Booking Officer by telephone or email at least five days prior to the event to confirm arrangements. For single bookings, the full amount is due on return of the signed acceptance sheet. A returnable deposit of £200 is required (not included in pricing). For block bookings, the Hirer pays full basic hire charges and any other losses incurred, unless 21 days' written notice is given. For single bookings, the Hirer reimburses the Trust for any losses incurred (including loss of letting income) and may forfeit the deposit at the Trust's discretion. Hirer responsibilities include ensuring the hall is left neat and tidy, removing rubbish, cleaning spillages, controlling all persons admitted, and ensuring noise is maintained at a reasonable level.
