Market House Reading is an industrial chic venue, formerly an historic Lloyds Bank, located in the heart of Reading town centre near Reading Train Station. It functions as a bar, hotel, event space, and restaurant, offering multiple areas for private parties, corporate events, and weddings. The venue blends historic charm with modern design and features a rooftop bar and diverse dining options including sourdough pizza. It also has 23-24 uniquely decorated boutique hotel rooms. Operates on a minimum spend basis, which varies by season and day of the week. A 50% deposit of the minimum spend is required for the Rooftop Bar, which is refunded after the event (T&Cs apply). Menus start at £28.00 per head. Guests under 18 are welcome until 8 pm; after this time, the venue is strictly over 18s only. Challenge 25 policy in operation.
