How to Book

Bookings are secured by payment at the time of booking. 14 days notice required for cancellation; reimbursement for cancellations within 14 days is at the discretion of the village hall committee. Hire period should account for setup and clean-up time. If selling alcohol, the hirer must apply to Bedford Borough Council for a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) at their own cost (allow approx. 10 working days) and provide evidence prior to the event. Any decorations or fixtures should be discussed with the booking clerk. Hirer must ensure adult supervision is present at all times if minors are present. Hall must only be used for the purpose stated on the booking request form. The village hall is also used as a school hall during the day from Monday to Friday, so bookings should not disrupt school activities. The hirer accepts responsibility for the property and its facilities for the duration of the hire period and must stay within the hall environs.
