About
Newick Village Hall was inspired by Lionel Cox for the Amateur Dramatic Society, designed and built by local residents, and opened in December 1932. It was purchased by local residents in 1947 to be managed for the benefit of the village. Improvements have continued to keep the building modern. It features a Main Hall, Meeting Room, Kitchen, Bar, and Car Park, along with new toilets, heating, floor, windows, doors, acoustic ceiling, stage, lighting, dressing rooms, and hearing loop facilities.

How to Book
Contact the Booking Secretary Anne Roper via email ([email protected]) or phone (07377 872469). Booking and Responsible Person forms must be completed and delivered to secure a booking. The booking diary is available online. Regrettably, the hall is not hired for teenage celebrations due to prior incidents. A 50% deposit of the booking cost is required at the time of booking, or full payment if the booking cost is less than £70. A refundable bond of £400 against damage may be requested, due with the final payment before the event. Cancellation policy: No charge if cancelled 3 months prior to the date of hire (further details on a sliding scale of charges are available in the full conditions of hire).
