How to Book
Provisional bookings are held for a maximum of 14 days. The full hire fee is required to confirm a provisional booking after 14 days. Confirmation is made in writing by the Village Hall booking secretary. The hired period must include setting up and clearing up time. Arrangements for opening the hall should be made with a Hall volunteer at least 10 days prior to the event. If a booking is cancelled by the hirer, the deposit will be non-returnable if the Hall is not relet. If the Hall is relet, the deposit will be refunded. If the Village Hall cancels a booking, liability is limited to a refund of the hire charge only. All prices are current and inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated, but may be subject to alteration. The hirer is responsible for setting out the hall using available furniture and for the orderly conduct of the event. The hirer is responsible for leaving the premises and surrounding area in a clean and tidy condition, and for removing rubbish. No drinks (excisable liquor or soft) shall be consumed unless supplied by the Village Hall, unless prior agreement is sought and appropriate corkage charges are paid. Amplified music events must be held indoors and not be audible in neighbouring properties after 11 pm. All doors and windows must be kept closed after 11 pm, except for entry and exit. No drinking outside the Village Hall is permitted.
