The Ritz Penzance is a newly refurbished multi-purpose entertainment venue, originally an Art Deco cinema built in 1936. It has been restored to host a wide range of events. The venue works in conjunction with The Savoy cinema, offering a wider range of events. The refurbishment was part-funded by the UK Government's Future High Streets Fund.

The entrance and ground floor, including the auditorium, are fully accessible for wheelchair users. Wheelchair spaces are available on the top terrace at ground-floor level. The first-floor circle and dance floor are not accessible to wheelchair users (access to the first-floor circle is via the main staircase only). Some shows and promoters allow free carer tickets, available by request on a case-by-case basis by emailing [email protected]. Proof of carer status may be required.
