St Hilda's Church Hall offers two distinct hireable spaces: the beautiful Victorian Church Hall (Main Hall) with an ornate interior, stage, and dressing rooms, suitable for parties and wedding receptions; and the Undercroft Suite, comprising three smaller rooms (Old St Cyprian's Chapel, Choir Practice Room, and Church Wardens' Vestry with kitchenette), suitable for up to 60 people. How to Book

All applications for hire must be sent to the booking secretary. A new booking system is being implemented. Bookings are secured by a deposit (ranging from the full fee for hires under £25, to £25 for hires between £25-£100, and £50 for hires over £100). A returnable security deposit (£50 for normal bookings, £100 for parties/wedding receptions in the Main Hall) is required 14 days before hire. The balance of the hire charge and bond must be paid 7 days prior to the letting date. Cancellation with at least 28 days notice results in a full refund; less than 14 days notice results in retention of deposit/full payment. Access details are discussed by phone. Hire periods must include setting up and clearing time. Hirers must be 18 or over. Parties for 15-25 year olds require Hall Committee approval and supervision by adults over 25. All equipment must be removed after the letting period unless agreed otherwise. Pianos must not be moved. Fee charges are those in force at the date of let, or the pre-payment fee if made with booking. 2 months notice will be given of future increases.
