The main Concert Hall is closed until late Spring 2027 for a major Town Deal Funded renewal project (Guildhall Renewal Project 2023-26). The upper rooms (Mayor's Parlour, Council Chamber, Balcony Room) and The Island Blockhouse/Chapel remain available throughout 2026. The Guildhall offers flexible space for business meetings, training, workshops, private parties, and community events.

The Guildhall offers flexible space for business meetings, training, workshops, private parties, and community events. For specific details and pricing on non-wedding hire, please contact [email protected] or 01736 797840. For wedding enquiries, contact [email protected]. The Guildhall is a Registered Venue, not a Registry Office. Couples need to book Registrars with the local Registration Team (at least 4 weeks' notice required). A 50% deposit is due upon booking confirmation, with the balance due 2 months before the event. Prices are subject to change and will be charged at the current rate upon confirmation.
