How to Book
Booking requires a non-refundable deposit of £25. Payments can be made by cheque (payable to St. John the Baptist, PCC) or cash; no card payments are accepted. Cheque payments must be submitted no less than 14 days in advance. Hirers are responsible for the full cost of the booked time, with refunds only in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Church's Hall and Fabric Committee. Bookings for purposes incompatible with Christian beliefs or likely to offend the public (e.g., loud disco music) are not accepted. Hirers must supervise events, prevent disorderly behaviour, ensure cleanliness, and remove all rubbish. An additional £50 charge applies if the hall and equipment are not left clean. Smoking is not permitted in the Church Hall (facilities provided outside main door). Hirers are responsible for familiarising with fire evacuation procedures, extinguishers, and exits. Regular users should institute six-monthly fire drills. The Church's Hall and Fabric Committee is not responsible for accidents from special apparatus brought in by hirer.
