How to Book
Booking times should include setting up and clearing away. Half an hour is added at the end (not chargeable) for clearing up for occasional hirers. Evening party events are discouraged. Provision of alcohol at any event is by request and at the discretion of the Church. Rear garden use is restricted to Chalk Pre-School and Church events. Additional charges: excessive electricity demand (e.g. bouncy castles, extra ovens) £25, kitchen use other than preparing food £10, AV system use (users supply laptop) £25. Extra cleaning if hall left unfit: cost based on requirement. Discounts: Regular hirers 10%, one-off private functions for church electoral roll members (2 years) 20%. Premiums: Profit-making organizations 25%.
