How to Book

To book, check availability on the hall bookings calendar, read the 'Conditions of Hire', then email a booking request with date/time, purpose, business/personal use, and whether you are a registered congregation member. Upon approval, a Provisional Booking is made, and a formal 'Application for Hire' must be completed and signed. Payment is by BACS only (no cheques or cash), required within 28 days of the hire date, or immediately for short notice bookings (less than 28 days). Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received. Cancellations up to 28 days prior to the event incur no penalty. 50% of the full hire cost is charged for cancellations less than 28 days, and the full hire cost for uncancelled no-shows. The hirer must be over 18 and present throughout the hire period, responsible for setting up, taking down, and leaving the hall clean and tidy. Hirers must hold their own public liability insurance and adhere to statutory requirements. All events must finish by 10pm, including cleaning up. Bookings for parties are no longer than three hours and must finish by 7pm, with a maximum of 60 people for party events. Hirers are responsible for removing all rubbish to outside bins. Hirers may not sublet, and keypad codes for regular hirers must not be shared. All electrical equipment must be PAT tested and use an RCD.
