How to Book
To make a booking, hirers should read the Terms and Conditions of Hire and Hire Charges documents, check availability on the online calendar, and then complete the New Booking form. Payment is due 7 days after the invoice date. Cancellations must be notified by email or telephone at least 7 days before the hiring date to receive a refund. For cancellations made later than this, the full agreed hiring fee must be paid unless the Trustees can find another hirer or if the cancellation is due to circumstances beyond the hirer's control, in which case fees may be waived. The hirer must be present for the entire duration of the booking and is responsible for any necessary cleaning and ensuring all equipment is returned to its original location. A £20 deposit is required to borrow keys to the premises, which is repayable upon their return. If the hirer fails to remove decorations or clean adequately, they may be charged for equipment hire, contractor fees, and a £20 administration fee. Hirers must also report any accidents involving injury to the public to the Administrator as soon as possible. It is important to book sufficient time for both setup and clearing up. Booking forms and payments should reach the Administrator by the weekend before the event. If an alcohol license form requires signing by the Management Committee, the Administrator must receive the paperwork before the committee meeting, typically held on the first Monday of every month. No scourers, bleach, or abrasive cleaners to be used in the kitchen.
