How to Book

Minimum hire period: 4 hours (for private hires). Payment terms for one-off hires: 50% deposit payable 2 weeks after invoice, balance payable 1 month before hire date. Payments accepted online. Cancellation policy: More than a month prior - Full Refund; Within a month of event - 50% Refund (if full payment made, otherwise deposit retained); Within one week of event - No Refund. Restrictions: All hirers must be over 18 years of age. No teenage parties permitted. No bookings on New Year's Eve. No smoking venue. Hirer responsibilities: Make own arrangements to prepare the Hall for function. Replace all Hall equipment in allotted space. Report any damage or breakages. Leave the Hall reasonably clean and tidy, including cooker (if used). Empty all waste and refuse bins into the large wheelie bin outside the side door. Familiarity with floor plan, exit routes, and fire extinguisher locations. Knowledge of First Aid Box location (lobby area). Record any incident or injury on an Accident Report form and hand to Bookings Secretary. Organisations should provide their own public liability insurance. Ensure compliance with age restrictions if showing a film. Obtain own PRS/PPL licence if putting on a performance with tickets costing £20 or more (excluding events where hirers provide their own alcoholic drinks). Ensure all curtains are left open when leaving. How to book: Read Terms and Conditions of Hire and Hire Charges, check availability on the calendar page, click 'New Booking' and fill in the form.
