Derby College Broomfield Hall Campus is an extensive working estate with facilities catering to land-based, leisure, sport, and public services sectors. It includes offices, meeting rooms, a library/Learning Resources Centre, classrooms, a Learner Services Suite, a canteen area (seating for 200), a Sports Hall, and an Equine Centre. The campus also boasts 25 acres of educational Victorian gardens, featuring a walled garden, plant centre, herbaceous border, rose garden, tropical garden, ornamental grasses, winter garden, prairie plantings, a Japanese styled garden, Fuchsia collection, and woodland walks.

A state-of-the-art sports facility featuring four full-size indoor multi-use courts, modern locker rooms, indoor/outdoor changing rooms, and a fully-equipped fitness suite on the second floor. Unique features include an outdoor climbing wall and a climbing tree on an external wall. Three outdoor pitches are also available. All new sports facilities are open to the local community.
