The Fir Hill is a unique, year-round venue set on a 66-acre historic estate overlooking Porth Reservoir, offering versatile indoor and outdoor communal spaces for various events. It is a carbon-neutral estate, 100% off-grid, utilizing a 10kW solar power station, solar thermal hot water with biomass burner backup, and borehole/spring water. This places some restrictions on electrical appliances without generator hire. The venue is dog-friendly in 5 of the yurts. It is located 3 miles (10 minutes drive) from Newquay, easily accessible from A30 and A39, and a couple of miles from Cornwall Airport Newquay. The venue offers exclusive use for weddings, group holidays (e.g., yoga, art, cycling clubs), and corporate events, as well as luxury glamping accommodation in Mongolian yurts.
