How to Book

To book, download and complete the booking form from the website and return it to the booking secretary. An invoice will be issued and the booking confirmed upon payment. Keys/key safe code will be released after payment. Both hiring fee and deposit must be paid separately by bank transfer in advance. Cancellations with 7 days or more notice receive a full refund; less than 7 days notice results in no refund. The minimum age for a hirer is 18 years old. Use of the hall is subject to terms and conditions and a Health & Safety policy, included with the booking form. Hirers are responsible for setting up chairs and tables, and for leaving the hall clean and tidy, including sweeping floors and mopping spillages. All rubbish must be taken away by the hirer for disposal as there is no refuse collection at the Hall. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere in the Village Hall. Fireworks are not allowed without prior agreement. Hirers must ensure the rear external door in the changing room is closed and locked, all windows are checked and locked, and all lights are turned off. Hirers must comply with all statutory or local regulations and rules for public safety as stated in the Village Hall Health and Safety Policy. Heating is pre-set.
