The Washington Village Memorial Hall comprises two main rooms: the original Reading Room, now known as the Dore' Room, and an addition called the Chanctonbury Room. The hall underwent a major refurbishment between 2005 and 2009 to extend and modernise its facilities. It is located at the foot of the South Downs, close to the South Downs Way.

How to Book
Interested parties can check the calendar for availability and make booking enquiries via the website. Charges are based on the time of booking and are made in half-hour increments. Standard room hire charges for April 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026, are available for download on their website. Discounted rates are available for registered charities and recognised local non-commercial organisations, as well as for organisations providing significant income to the hall. Applications for discounted rates should be made to the Chairman of the Trustee Board. Terms & Conditions of hire are available on their website.
