Waterford Village Hall offers a versatile space suitable for a wide range of events including receptions, parties, clubs, societies, training, recreation, anniversaries, children's parties, local community meetings, music events, theatre productions, band practice, christenings/blessings, wakes, baby groups, fitness classes/yoga, educational pursuits, church events/choir practice, school events, dog training, naming ceremonies, film shoots, banqueting, corporate events, and dance classes. It features a main hall and a small hall, a well-equipped kitchen, accessible toilets, and on-site parking for 15 cars. There is also non-exclusive use of an outdoor playing field and children's recreation area, with bouncy castles allowed outside but not inside.

How to book
Availability can be viewed on the website. Weekday hourly bookings are available Monday-Friday 9am to 6pm; enquire for after 6pm via phone (07584 123958), chat, or email. Evening bookings are only offered to verifiable villagers; email the secretary with dates. Cancellations with less than 7 days' notice result in loss of the hire fee. Waterford Residents receive a 20% discount if registered. Increased costs apply for hiring at Christmas or Bank Holidays. If alcoholic drinks are to be SOLD, the Recreation Committee must be advised, and the hirer must apply for a TEN (Temporary Event Notice) licence from East Herts Council, which is the responsibility of the hirer. Hirers must download and read the Hirer's Guide and Terms & Conditions of Hire.
