The Worthing Town Centre BID manages two outdoor areas available for organisations to hold events or activities. These areas are primarily for promotions, with sales or cash collections requiring additional permits from Adur & Worthing Councils. Priority is given to events and activities that enhance the town centre's ambiance. Busking is welcomed but requires adherence to busking guidelines. Busking is prohibited on the Seafront and requires permission from owners for Montague Quarter and Guildbourne Centre. Leafleting is permitted, limited to 2 organisations per day, with no cost unless additional cleansing is required.

Call 01903 203252 to check availability, especially for weekends, as these areas can be busy. Complete an Event Space Booking Form and email it to lindsay@worthingtowncentre.co.uk. Requirements: Risk Assessment, Evidence of at least £5 million Public Liability Insurance cover. Restrictions: Limit of 3 weekend dates per year for any single organisation. Vehicles allowed only if integral to the event/activity, sign-written, and weighing no more than 3 tonnes. Amplified sound must be at an ambient level to avoid disturbing businesses/residents. No sales or cash collections permitted without a street trading permit or street collection license from Adur & Worthing Councils.
