The Church on the Isles of Scilly is a living community of Christian disciples, open to all, worshipping God with reverence and joy, seeking to learn more about God and his will for us, serving each other and our community in his love, caring for God's world. They welcome all who wish to join them to find out more about God's love, salvation and purpose for them, as individuals, as a Christian community, and as island communities.

St. Mary the Virgin Church is available for baptisms (christenings) and marriage ceremonies. Other island churches (St. Agnes, St. Martins, Bryher, Tresco, Old Town Church) are also available for these ceremonies.

To discuss the possibility of having a marriage ceremony in any of our island churches, please contact the Chaplain for more information. Please do discuss dates and book the Church before you book the reception venue to avoid clashes and possible disappointment! The summer, in particular can get quite booked up. Marriages can take place on any day, except Good Friday and Christmas Day.
