About
Welcome to Alphington Village Hall, Theatre, Community Centre and Art Block. Our facilities are suitable for most purposes, from meetings to parties and dance classes, with very competitive prices. We have an art block with a double art studio, a pottery studio with 6 wheels and a kiln. The Village Hall, originally an 1830s building, was fully refurbished in 2017 with superb new toilets and kitchen. The Theatre was added in 2021 with skylights, blackout blinds, underfloor heating and flexible lighting. The Community Centre and Art Block were originally built in 1876 as the original Alphington School. It has a large playground and access to Grimes Field behind it.
