About
The Bradford and Cookbury Village Hall was opened in December 2000, built with partial funding from the National Lottery Charities Board and matching grants. It is well maintained and equipped, offering versatile accommodation with an adjacent well-lit car park and level access. Accommodation includes rooms for meetings and a large hall adaptable for lectures, performance, parties, wedding receptions, sport, dancing, exhibition, and craft sales. It features excellent acoustics, portable staging, a PA system, and a hearing loop. Quality banqueting chairs and tables are included to seat approximately 150. There is a well-equipped large kitchen for preparation of buffets and hot meals. Other facilities include a skittle alley and snooker room. Many varied weekly/monthly activities are based at the hall.
