Christ Church Kensington offers conference and meeting facilities for charitable, public sector, individual, and commercial hire. Rooms are available for one-off or regular events, suitable for birthday parties and other celebrations. Hirer is responsible for ensuring compliance with room hire conditions. Christ Church Kensington (CCK) regards the safe care and protection of children and vulnerable adults as of utmost importance; hirers are expected to make appropriate provision. Hirer accepts full responsibility for injuries to any person using the premises, except those caused by CCK's negligence. Hirer is responsible for obtaining adequate insurance against third-party claims. Hirer must collect the key from the Ministry Support Coordinator and receive a briefing on building use. Hirer may visit the building in advance to assess suitability. CCK staff must have access to all hired areas during the hire period. Hirer is responsible for the supervision and security of the premises, and protection of fabric and contents from damage. Hired space must be left clean and tidy. Hirer may serve alcohol but must not sell it on the premises; excessive drinking is not permitted. No public announcement of any function until booking is confirmed by CCK. No signs, notices, posters, or banners to be displayed inside or outside the building. All publicity must bear the name, contact address, and telephone number of the hirer. A copy of the program/advertising material must be attached to the hire agreement. Time for setting up and clearing away must be included within the hired times. CCK reserves the right to allow hire of other areas and common use of the entrance lobby and toilets during the hire period. Confetti, rose petals, glitter, rice, and helium balloons are not permitted inside the church building. Regular bookings may be subject to the church requiring use for occasional services with as much notice as possible. Regular bookings from trusted clients may lead to key holder status for self-management after a successful probation period.
