How to book
Payment via credit or debit card, accepted only over the telephone a minimum of 4 weeks (28 days) in advance. Cheques, bank transfers, and cash are not accepted. Public liability insurance required, with a PLI certificate for cover up to £5M to be provided at the point of booking. If no PLI certification is available, a 15% charge of the hire will be added to the overall hire cost. Out-of-hours bookings incur additional costs for staff (minimum 2 Concierges and a security guard) from Friday 17:00 to Monday 09:00. No food preparation, cooking, or hot holding equipment is allowed on the premises. Booking process: Fill in and send booking form to venues@croydon.gov.uk. Venues respond (generally within 2 working days). If space is available, a provisional booking is made. T&Cs document is signed and returned along with a copy of PLI. Organiser provides an Event Risk Assessment (RA). Venues provide a quote to the organiser. Quote is agreed and telephone payment arranged. Telephone payment is made (at least 28 days in advance). Booking is confirmed. Viewings can be organised for 10 minutes between meetings. It is recommended to send a couple of dates for availability.
