About
Originally opened as the Empire Cinema on August 1st, 1930, with a capacity of 1,700. Renovated and reopened in 2016 as the Empire banqueting and events hall, retaining its 1930s Art Deco architecture. The venue is ideal for a wide range of events including Weddings, Banquets, Parties, Corporate Events, Performances, Festivals, Conferences, Exhibitions, and Smaller Gatherings.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure bookings, covering administrative costs and date reservation. This deposit is forfeited upon customer cancellation.
