HBC Community Centre is a modern community centre that opened in Spring 2018. It is less than a mile from the Olympic Park and serves the local community of Homerton and Hackney Wick. The centre aims to provide high-quality facilities for the benefit of the local community. The centre is a voluntary sector organisation established for the purpose of hiring out, maintaining, and investing in the building. The Homerton Baptist Church does not handle room hire directly; all inquiries should go to HBC Community Centre. The rates of hire cover the cost of cleaning, property maintenance and investment in improved facilities.

How to Book

Hire applications are available for Residential, Charity/Voluntary, Business, and Public Sector use. Booking forms are required to confirm availability and respond to specific requests. Bookings are managed by volunteers, so allow reasonable time for a response. Premises are not manned throughout the day, so unannounced visits are not recommended. All bookings must include time for setup and cleanup. A booking deposit of 25% of the hire price is payable at the point of booking to secure the room(s), date and time. The remainder is due 2-4 weeks in advance of the hire date. A refundable damages deposit of £250 is payable 2-4 weeks in advance of the hire date. This is refunded after the event, after deductions for any damages and/or an insurance excess payment.
