Hougham Village Hall was refurbished in 2019, including a new kitchen, modernised hall, and new toilets. It is suitable for a wide range of events including private parties, public meetings, charitable and fundraising events, child-based activities, keep-fit and dance classes, lectures, quiz nights, weddings, christenings, and corporate events. The outside space is currently under refurbishment with planned features including a BBQ area and safe play areas for children.

How to Book
To book, contact the committee team to discuss hire and arrange a visit. An online booking form is available for initial inquiries. If the hirer cancels and the CIO cannot arrange a replacement booking, further payment or withholding of paid fees/deposits may occur at the trustees' discretion. Commercial hirers must have adequate insurance and provide evidence to the Bookings Secretary. Hirers for activities involving children and adults at risk (other than private parties) MUST provide a copy of their Safeguarding Policy and evidence of DBS checks. Hirers intending to sell alcohol must obtain a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) from Dover District Council and provide a copy to the Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
