How to Book
Contact the Bookings Secretary for availability; weekends are generally available. A minimum booking period of 3 hours applies for weekend (Saturday or Sunday) bookings. The hire period includes time for setting up and clearing up. Online booking is available via the website. A detailed cancellation policy is available in the 'Conditions of Hire' document; 28 days notice will not incur a penalty. Hirers must be over 21 years old and present during the entire hire period, acting as the named Safety Officer and responsible for safety, behaviour, licensing compliance, and care of the premises. A deposit is required to cover negligent damage, extra cleaning, or restoring contents. Electricity tokens are required for sockets, oven/hob, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, auto-urn, hot water for washing up/handwashing, and additional heating, available from the Booking Secretary and refunded if returned. The minimum notification period for booking is 10 working days before the event. Decorations can be hung from the end of curtain rails in the large hall.
