How to book

50% of invoice payable immediately to secure booking. Balance due 1 month in advance of the event. No cash or cheque payments accepted; bank transfer details on invoice. Cancellations prior to one month before event: £10 administration charge. Cancellations within one month of event: 50% of booking cost charged. Key collection during week commencing hire from Parish Council office (10am-12 midday Monday-Wednesday and Friday), or by telephone arrangement. Deposit refund approved at following Parish Council meeting (1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month) after hall inspection, refunded by bank transfer the following day. £20 charge if front door key not returned. Subletting not permitted. Parish Council reserves the right to refuse bookings/access. Hirer is responsible for security, fire safety, and management of all persons attending. Nominated person must remain on premises until hall is cleared and locked. Hirer responsible for evacuation and summoning Fire Brigade in case of fire. Temporary Event Notice (TEN) required from Council for licensable activities (e.g., selling/serving alcohol, providing entertainment) with two months' written notice. Written request to Parish Council two months prior for marquees or sporting displays. Written permission from Parish Council required for bouncy castles/inflatables (not more than 10ft/3m high inside), with example and proof of Public Liability Insurance. Public Liability Insurance Certificate required if hirer is running a business via hall use. Parish Council not responsible for death or injury during hire; adequate safety, first-aid, and insurance recommended.
