Maltby Village Hall is a bright and modern event room, completely managed and run by a dedicated team of volunteers from the local community. It is suitable for a wide range of events including well-being fitness and educational classes, functions, business meetings, community and seasonal events, children's groups, leisure and well-being sessions, weddings, birthday parties, conferences, funeral teas, dances, fairs and sales, choirs, and flower demonstrations.

How to book
Availability: 7 days a week, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. All Hirers must complete a Hiring Agreement prior to hall use. Bookings are confirmed when full payment has been received. Regular re-occurring bookings are invoiced at the end of an agreed period. Repayment of the fee is at the discretion of the Village Hall. Maltby Village Committee reserves the right to cancel a booking for electoral purposes, with full refund and advance notice. When alcohol is being sold, the Hirer must apply to Stockton Borough Council for a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) and obtain written consent from Maltby Village Hall before giving the licensing authority a TEN. Safety Guidelines: Familiarise yourself with the venue, emergency exits, first aid equipment, fire extinguisher/blanket. Keep all exits clear. Do not overload sockets and avoid trip hazards. Do not overstack chairs or use them to reach heights; carry chairs one at a time. Bouncy castles are not permitted inside or outside the hall. A copy of the hall's risk assessment is available upon request. Business hirers must have their own valid risk assessment and insurance. No Hirer shall sublet the Maltby Village Hall. Adults must fully supervise children at all times in or near the vicinity of the Hall. Any breakages must be reported and paid for if necessary. No phone in the building; recommended to bring a charged mobile phone. Welcome visitors to the hall prior to bookings (arrange via website contact form). Discuss nature of event and required facilities at time of booking.
