How to Book
Length of hire includes time for setting up and clearing away. An extra five minutes either side of the hire time is allowed for entry and exit. Invoicing at the end of each month. Refundable deposit against damage or unfit condition may be requested. Regular hirers may store small quantities of equipment at the Centre at the discretion of the Trustees. Hirer agrees to pay appropriate hire fees. Hirer is responsible for any loss or damages. Hall must be left in a clean and tidy state; leftover food/waste/rubbish must be removed. All windows, doors, and main gate must be locked on leaving. Nothing should be used that triggers smoke detectors or fire alarms. Numbers within hired facility must not exceed licensed capacity (140 standing, 120 seated). Personal electrical equipment must be in safe condition and have current P.A.T certification where appropriate. Hirer must be aware of Fire Regulations and ensure emergency exits are clear. For large events (over 80 people), a Fire Marshal must be appointed. Adequate supervision by mature adults (over 25) is required for parties of persons aged 25 or under, with non-drinking adults responsible for high-risk events. Hirer is responsible for ascertaining and ensuring DBS certificates are in place for adults supervising children. Hirer must be over 25 years of age and present for the duration of the hire when the public are present. No intoxicating liquor is permitted to be sold, bought, or consumed without prior permission of the Trustees. Hirer must ensure no alcohol is sold or given to persons under 18.
