The Sapphire Jubilee Community Centre offers a main hall for hire, suitable for various events. It includes a basic domestic kitchen and disabled toilet facilities. The centre operates under specific restrictions, including no 18th or 21st birthday parties, no gas bottles or BBQs (exceptions for special community events with prior permission, risk assessment, and insurance), and it is a completely non-smoking building. How to book
To book, complete a 'hire booking form' with personal details, required dates, and times. Further paperwork or references may be requested by the Centre manager. Hirers must sign a standard condition of hire form and rules and regulations form. A deposit must be paid within 7 days to secure the booking (otherwise, booking will be removed). The full payment (hire charges + deposit) is due 4 weeks before the event date (otherwise, booking will be cancelled). The deposit is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled. Refund of the hire fee (or part thereof) after full payment is at the discretion of management.
