How to book
Bookings can be made via the online booking form on the Shipton-Village.uk website (under the Reading Room tab) or by email using the 'Contact Us' link. General enquiries can be made by phone at 01452 528491. Payment is required in advance by BACS (Account Name: Shipton Reading Room, Account Number: 84469268, Sort Code: 30-98-97) or by cash/cheque payable to Shipton Reading Room. A hire agreement form must be completed. Key collection and a full briefing on hall use and safety procedures will be arranged with a Trustee. Hirers are responsible for supervision, care of the premises, and cleaning/tidying after the event, including taking all rubbish home. A 50% deposit of the total hire fee is required for bookings over 5 hours. 5 minutes each side of the hire period is allowed for basic setup and departure; additional time must be booked and paid for.
