How to Book
Booking is via an online inquiry form on the St Cuthbert's Church website. A member of the parish team will discuss needs and availability. Cancellation policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking confirmation (excludes events starting within 48 hours) or 30 days in advance. 50% refund for cancellations 30 to 7 days in advance. Non-refundable for events starting within 7 days. A deposit of £200 (or £300 with piano) is required for the Church and Crypt, with £150 non-refundable for cancellations less than 21 days before hire. Hirers are responsible for supervision, security, protection of premises, and guest behavior, and must comply with fair-trading laws if selling goods. Hirers are also responsible for any accidents or injuries arising from their activity. No equipment or musical instruments may be left or stored in the church. Events cannot continue during regular church service hours.
