How to Book
Reservation enquiries must be made in writing via the Saint Laurence website form or to [email protected]. Confirmation requires a completed and agreed Buildings Usage Contract form, payment of a 25% deposit (invoiced and deducted from the balance), and a copy of the hirer's Public Liability Insurance (minimum £5 million). Full payment for hire must be paid at least two weeks before the hire date for St Laurence Centre rooms, and 28 days prior to the event for Nave/Glass Meeting Room. Deposits, unless forfeited, will be returned as soon as possible after 15 days after the hire date for St Laurence Centre rooms. A separate damages waiver is requested for Nave/Glass Meeting Room bookings, which is non-refundable. If booking is cancelled less than four weeks before the event, the hirer loses 50% of the deposit if the room is not re-let (St Laurence Centre). St Laurence staff are not involved in event setup; the hirer is responsible for setup and cleanup. If St Laurence staff are required on-site during an event, a rate of £15/hour before midnight and £25/hour thereafter applies (minimum 1 hour charge). The Parish Manager or Centre Management Committee reserves the right to refuse applications and to cancel bookings if premises are required for use as a Polling Station or are unfit for use.
