How to Book
Bookings are managed through the online booking system on the WCA website or via the Bookings Secretary (additional fee may apply). Rates are valid from January 1, 2025, and are subject to a 2% increase in line with October 2024 inflation figures. Bookings are charged per 15 minutes, with a minimum hire period of 1 hour. Setting up and clearing time must be included as part of the booking time. All bookings are subject to the Winscombe Community Association's Conditions of Hire. Maximum rental charge for a single booking (e.g., all rooms for the day) is £82 for local clubs/charities and £97 for others, plus any kitchen charges. Bookings can be made up to 12 calendar months in advance for regular users and 6 months for infrequent bookers. A formal verbal or written acknowledgement of hire is required for a booking to be accepted. The hirer must pay the hire charge prior to the hire period. Kitchen charges per let: Drinks and cold food only £7.50; Full cooking £31.70. Minimal kitchen use (less than 15 minutes for boiling a kettle/cold drinks, if kitchen is free) is no charge.
